Ironman Lanzarote - German, Timo Bracht took just 8.5 hours  to complete the gruelling Lanzarote Ironman course, the 20th running of the competition on the island. British athelete Rachel Joyce won the Ironwomen race. Not only did Timo smash the island record, a 70 year old (Peter Dalkin) successfully completed the course competing against 1500 competetors.

Playa Blanca Cricket Club (PBCC)

Playa Blanca Cricket Club are always on the look out for talented new players, so if you live in the Yaiza area or are just visiting why not get involved. Meet new people and experience a game of cricket in 40 degree heat (there really is nothing quite like it).
